Genre: Joan of Arc, history, Birds, Battles
Published: 2012
There was only one creature on this earth who really knew Joan. He was a sparrow, just an ordinary sparrow...
He was her best friend on this earth, maybe her only friend, too.
A young girl faces an impossible task - to save her beloved France from tyrants. To free her country, Joan will lose everyone she has ever loved. But she listens to her heart and believes in her calling.
Many years later, a girl called Eloise has a very special dream about her heroine, Joan of Arc.
My Review
wow! Great book! This was a really interesting book which is set in the time of Joan Of Arc. It was even more suitable because at school I am learning about the Medieval Times. The story is told through both a sparrow and Joan's point of view. It is all about Joan's life and how she rids the English out of France.

Hope you enjoy this great book by Michael Morpugo! He also published a book called outlaw about robin hood, when sparrow was released!
See you soon,

Farm Boy

Author: Micheal Morpurgo
Pages: 128
Age: 9+
genre: Horses, Farming, Family story's
 Blurb
Set on a farm in Devon at the beginning of the 20th century, this book is both an evocative and nostalgic read. It is a story of the relationship between a grandfather and grandson and the very special secret they share involving a local farmer, a field, horses and a newfangled Fordson tractor.
My Review
I rate this book 8 out of 10.
( I would have liked it a bit longer, otherwise great)
This is a great read telling the story of Joeys life in the eyes of his Son.
It shows us what happened after the War and continued on where War Horse left off. Wonderfully written, but if you expect it to be a thrilling War story it is not for you. I have said 9+ although it is not a long book ,is not written in very fine text and has many pictures, it could be a little bit hard to understand as Joey's Son is telling Joeys son's Son the story and sometimes that can be a little bit confusing for the youngsters.
This would be a perfect book to read to a class of students, A sibling or child or just by yourself.

SO Enjoy yourself and have a lovely (but unfortunately short) Read.

This was a great book, even though it was a short story. This book would be suitable for anyone from an age of about 8-12. Although this book wasn't very long it had a really goos storyline and is a very interesting read. In this book there were some sad moments but over all it was a very lovely book with a great ending.

Enjoy,

An Elephant in the garden

Author: Michael Morpurgo
Pages: 233
An elephant in the garden is a great book about an elderly lady who tells her life story about how she escapes the 2nd world war in Dresden with an elephant, her mother and brother. Along their journey they endure many hardships. They are homeless, on the run to escape the dreadful war, Starving most of the time (Except when her new 'brother' Steals some food from Abandoned property's).Will the war ever end? Will her dreams ever come true? Read this amazing book to find out.
My Review
I rate this book 7 out of 10(Really Good). An Elephant in the garden was a really hard book to review because it is a book about a nurse and her son Karl, who befriend a lady called Lizzy(short for Elizabeth), who just moved into the nursing home where Karl's Mum works and how Lizzy told them both the story of her life from start to finish. Karl believed Lizzy straight away but it took his mum a little bit longer to believe in the elderly Lady's words.
 Another Book by Michael Morpurgo
Shadow was a great book about a boy named Aman, He is a boy from Afghanistan Escaping the horror of the afghan war. When a western dog shows up outside the cave where Aman and his mother live, Aman is initially held back as it is not normal for people to have dogs as pets in his part of the world. But when Aman and his mother finally decide to make a bid for freedom, the dog Aman has named Shadow will not leave their side. Soon it becomes clear… the destinies of the boy and dog are linked, and always will be…
